Craig P. Tully

Craig P. Tully, a vibrant soul known for his infectious charisma and heartfelt laughter, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Charlton, MA, on November 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 3, 2002, in Worcester, MA, Craig's 21 years were marked by an unwavering love for his family, a passion for life, and a generosity of spirit that touched all who knew him.

Craig's early years were spent in the nurturing embrace of his hometown, where he was lovingly raised by his parents, Eric and Jamie (Gagne) Tully of Charlton. His bond with his brother Gavin was profound, characterized by a deep connection that only siblings share. Craig's family roots run deep, with a supportive circle that included his grandparents, Darlene Tully of Charlton, Gary and Linda Gagne of Oxford, Bruce and Bonnie Taylor of Charlton, great-grandparents Barbara Gagne of Worcester and Peg Tully of Charlton, and his late grandfather Dennis (Pops) Tully, who Craig held in fond memory. Craig's loving relationship with his long term girlfriend, Alania Zoller of Worcester, was a testament to his capacity for deep affection and companionship.

He also leaves behind his aunts Meg Tully of Worcester, Emily Ray and her husband Eric of Oxford, and Kristen Krajcik (also his godmother) and her husband Larry of Webster, along with his godfather, Dan Crowley, and many extended family members, who all played significant roles in his life. His best friend, Johnny Lugo of Holden, stood by him through thick and thin, sharing in the adventures that defined Craig's spirited approach to life. The bond between Craig and his dogs, Max, Atlas, and Sophia, was a joy to behold.

Craig's professional life was characterized by his love for cooking. His work was more than a job; it was a place where his warmth and dedication could shine. Alania's American Chop Suey held a special place in his heart as his favorite food, a dish that was more than just a meal, but a symbol of the comfort and love he found with her.

Craig enjoyed many different hobbies, including music and concerts which were a significant part of his life, providing a soundtrack to life's many moments. Craig always had a love for the outdoors, growing up camping and building fires. Recently, Craig also discovered the joy of fishing with his brother, Gavin, and best friend, Johnny, a pastime that allowed him to bask in the serenity of nature. Craig's love for travel took him to many beautiful places, but he held a special affection for St. John of the Virgin Islands and the peaceful allure of “Tully Acres” in Vermont. "Tully Acres" was a favorite retreat where he enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his presence, his great sense of humor, and his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. His genuine interest in his family and friends was evident in the way he engaged with them, always eager to listen and share his own experiences. Craig was admirably honest and open about his mental health struggles, willing to engage in conversations that many find difficult, in the hope of helping others feel less alone.
