Southbridge – Carrie M. (Morrissey) Bertrand, 83, of Southbridge passed away on May 14, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Roger Bertrand. She was born in Southbridge on March 8, 1934 to the late Bernard and Florence (Choinard) Morrissey and lived in Southbridge all of her life. Carrie absolutely adored her family. She was the best caregiver to her loving children and cherished grandchildren. Her generosity of spirit was known to all who were fortunate enough to make her acquaintance, and would do anything for anyone. In addition to her beloved husband Roger, she will be deeply missed by her son Roger A. Bertrand and daughter Donna Paine and her husband Harold, all of Southbridge; brother Ray Morrissey and sister Maureen Provost, both of Southbridge; and cherished grandsons Christopher Paine and Kevin Bertrand. She was predeceased by a brother Bernard Morrissey and sister Frances Morse. Funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family.
