Caroline Alley

Woodstock, CT: Caroline (Reed) Alley, 73, of Route 197, died March 9, 2015.

Born in Southbridge, Massachusetts she was the daughter of Wesley and Virginia (Collins) Reed.

She is predeceased by her husband Jan Alley. She is survived by two brothers: Anthony Reed of Woodstock, CT and Peter Reed of Webster, MA and one sister: Katherine Reed of Newark, NY.

Caroline graduated from Woodstock Academy and took many art courses. Caroline worked for the State of Connecticut as a house manager before retirement. She enjoyed the arts: drawing, painting, sculpting, playing the piano and singing.

A memorial service will be held in the East Woodstock Congregational Church, 220 Woodstock Rd, East Woodstock, CT 06244, on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 3 PM.

A private graveside service will be held in North Woodstock Cemetery in the Spring.
