Brent Fournier

SOUTHBRIDGE: Brent T. Fournier, 30, died December 5, 2011, at Eastern Maine Hospital in Bangor, Maine. Brent was born in Southbridge on November 12, 1981, the son of Roy Fournier and Cynthia (Comeau)Parady. Brent attended Bay Path R.T.V. High School in Charlton, Southbidge high School and Mount Desert Island High School in Maine. During his younger years Brent loved to play hockey, ride motorbikes, all terrain vehicles and work on any motor in the neighborhood.
After High school Brent used his mechanical skills and love of "tinkering" in many different areas of work. In recent years he also found a love of the sea and worked on a number of fishing boats as a sternman. Brent's greatest love was the outdoors. He enjoyed nothing more than a day at the lake fishing/wake-boarding and swimming. Even when it was his day off Brent could never sit still and would work on his motocycle or his vehicle or find some sort of project. Brent cherished his friendships with friends from Massachusetts to Maine. Nobody that knew Brent will ever forget his beautiful smile and his willingness to lend a helping hand to a friend or his family.
Brent is survived by his father Roy Fournier and his wife Melinda (Ernst) Fournier of Southbridge, his mother Cynthia (Comeau) Parady and her husband Steven Parady of Mount Desert, Maine his step brother and sister, Sean and Tia Parady, his maternal Grandparents Ken & Yvette Comeau of Florida, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brent will be lovingly missed by his fiance and the love of his life, Jody Silk of Bar Harbor, Maine. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Theodore and Doris (Memere) Fournier of Southbridge.
A Mass will also be celebrated at Blessed John Paul II at Notre Dame Church, Main Street, Southbridge, at 10:00AM, Monday, December 12th.
