Beatrice Shields

ââ?¬â?¹Southbridge: Beatrice (Moody) Shields, 84, of Lebanon Hill Rd., died Saturday, July 18 at Southbridge Healthcare. 

He husband John F. Shields died Feb. 12, 2010. She leaves 2 daughters Nancy L. Brotbeck and her husband Richard of Thompson, CT; and Kathleen Shields of Southbridge. She was predeceased by her brother Noel Moody. 

Born in Pawtucket, R.I. she was the daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice (Lapointe) Moody and lived in the Southbridge area many years. 

She was a member and of Notre Dame Parish, St. Rita Society and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Southbridge Women's Club and a former member of St. Louis Parish in Webster. At one time she enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and ballooning. Beatrice was a woman who enjoyed the outdoors and everything that nature had to offer. 

 Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, July 21, at Notre Dame Church of the St. John Paul II Parishes of Southbridge, 446 Main St. Southbridge. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. (Please go directly to church)

There are no calling hours.
