Barbara Pentland

February 8, 1930 — February 20, 2021

WORCESTER: Barbara Ann Pentland, of Worcester, MA passed away February 20th at the age of 91. She was the daughter of George and Eva (Hastings) Luce. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 57 years William Pentland Sr, her son Richard and her sister Rosalie. Barbara is survived by her son William Jr. and his wife Laura of Rocky Hill, CT and her two granddaughters Sarah Pentland of Smithfield, RI and Emily Pentland of Rocky Hill, CT. She also leaves behind her brother Robert Luce and his wife Shirley of VA, nieces Susan Chevalier of MA & Nancy Horanzy of NH, and many other family and friends. Barbara always enjoyed simple pleasures such as baking, coloring, attending church events, and spending time with family and friends. She treasured the time spent with her two granddaughters Sarah & Emily. The Pentland family would like to thank Colony III Retirement Homes, Christopher House of Worcester and TRILIFE Church for all they have done for Barbara over the years. Due to pandemic restrictions, all ceremonies will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
