IN LOVING MEMORY OF
April
Kakley
April 24, 1971 – February 20, 2026
WILBRAHAM: April (Corriveau) Kakley, 54, passed away on February 20, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center.
With heavy hearts and endless love, we share the passing of our beloved April — a woman whose life sparkled as brightly as the glitter she adored.
April found magic in everyday moments. She loved fairies and fantasy, believing wholeheartedly that a little sparkle could make the world better. Glitter wasn’t just part of her arts and crafts — it was part of her spirit. She carried light, imagination, and joy wherever she went.
Her greatest treasure was her family. April is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 13 years, Gary Kakley; her daughter Alyssa and Alyssa’s husband John; her son Devin; her stepson Justin and his wife Samantha; and her stepson Dylan and his wife Jenna. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to their children, who brought immeasurable joy and laughter into her life. She is also survived by her devoted parents, Charles and Constance (Mainville) Corriveau, and by her two brothers, Charles Jr. Corriveau and his wife, Wendy and Shawn Corriveau and his wife, Shari.
Family gatherings were her masterpiece. She filled her home with warmth, creativity, and love — whether through handmade decorations dusted in glitter, themed parties, or simple moments spent together around the table. She had a special gift for making each person feel cherished.
As a talented self-employed crafter, April shared her creations through attending craft fairs, delighting many with her artistry. She taught us to embrace creativity, to believe in a little magic, to laugh often, and to hold our families close. Though our hearts ache in her absence, her sparkle lives on — in every craft project, every twinkle of a star, every burst of laughter, and every act of love shared in her memory.
April’s light does not fade. It shines on in all of us.
A memorial service to celebrate April's life will be held on March 20th, at the Belanger Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA.
